OAKLAND -- Tampa Bay  kobe v shoesoptioned left-hander Cesar Ramos to Triple-A Durham and selected right-hander Jay Buente from Durham on Tuesday.

Ramos was 0-1 with a 4.22 ERA in 46 appearances with the Rays.

"A little bit [surprised]," Ramos said. "... I've been struggling. I haven't been consistent coming out of the bullpen.  nike hyperdunk low It's kind of been hurting the rest of the guys. I just need to go down there and get back on track and get back."
  Buente pitched for the Rays against the Marlins this season prior to joining Durham, where he went 1-3 with a 6.67 ERA in 12 games.

"He's kind of a neutral guy," Maddon said. "He's good against both righties and lefties. Enough fastball -- low 90s fastball, good offspeed stuff, he plays to both sides of the plate. He's also  nike hyperdunk 2010   little bit stretched out so he can go multiple innings."
